Established in 2007 by Joey Tershay and Steve "Shrewgy" Ruge, ACE trucks emerged with a shared wealth of knowledge and a common objective—to craft the most high-performing trucks in the realm of skateboarding. While the goal seemed straightforward in theory, achieving it posed its own set of challenges. ACE persevered through the formative years, steadily assembling an impressive team roster that grew in tandem with the brand's increasing popularity.

In 2017, a pivotal moment arrived with the addition of Joey Pulsifer as the third partner in ACE. His innovative concepts brought advancements to the strength and functionality of the trucks. The culmination of these efforts materialised in April 2021 with the release of the AF1, touted as the most robust cast truck on the planet. This milestone marked a turning point in the brand's evolution, firmly establishing ACE as one of the most sought-after truck brands in the world.
