Extreme Skates Skate News with Ryan Smith

21/10/2018 Extreme Skates Skate News with Ryan Smith Skatepark Update: Finally the floods have ended! School holidays are over and the rain has stopped! Be prepared to bring wax down to your local skate park, after the amount of rain we had everything will be slightly rusty and really sticky. For all of you that don’t know the Bracken Ridge Skate Plaza Pump Track has been officially opened to the public and is so much fun! You will feel your quads burn after a lap or two. Bracken Ridge Pump Track   Local News: Recently Mystery Skateboards, Theeve Trucks and few FSC riders came through Brissy.  Unfortunately for them and all of us it was bucketing down rain the whole weekend and they didn’t get to perform a demo at Paddington like planned. To the turn the frown upside down, Mystery Skateboards have turned local Brisbane legend and ripper Joel Mcilroy into the pro ranks. We will have his debut pro board in stock and for purchase as soon as possible. Breaking News: In Breaking news Jamie Foy has left Diamond Footwear and is now the newest member of New Balance Numeric along with Jake Hayes, Brandon Westgate, Franky Villani, Pj Ladd and many more. In other news Torey Pudwill has shocked the world with his recent departure from Plan B, he hasn’t stated where he is moving too. Is there is talk of Grizzly Skateboards? Or is he moving to Shanes new brand that hasn’t been named yet? Lizard King has also recently been added to the Grizzly Gang (Grizzly Griptape Team) which to me seems quite strange due him being the only Deathwish Team member to not have Shake Junt Griptape.  Skates Sales: We have several sales in the store at the moment. The popular $249 complete skateboard deal is still up and running with plenty of good decks and trucks to pick from, such as 8 Inch Plan B board with 139 Indys, Ricta 101A wheels with Super Hardware and Bearings. Free grip is standard! There is also have a massive shoe sale still going with up to 40% off selected shoes, such as Converse Cons One Star Pro, originally $129.99 now only $89.99. This vulcanised shoe is made for skateboarding, comes with a solid all suede exterior, a well-known and trusted Lunarlon inner sole and the classic converse all-star outer sole. Great shoe, great price! That’s all in Skate News for this week thanks for reading. We are always stoked to share your skate photos and videos. Sharing local news that's what we love to do!!!
