From bowls to half pipes, from skate parks to backyards, Pro-Tec has spent the last 4 decades listening to the needs of skaters and BMX’ers all over the world, in order to create the best protection available, period. The Pro-Tec Classic Certified draws its line of design right back to our original helmet model, but with all the latest technology we've pioneered over the last 40 years.
The Classic Certified is equipped with EPS foam and is multi-certified for CPSC, CE, ASTM and AS/NZS 2063:2008. The protective industry jargon in that last sentence means a massive machine smashed this helmet against an anvil in a scientific setting to prove to the world it will keep your precious dome safe when you slam.
Pro-Tec does the science so you don't have to. Our job is to keep you safe; your job is to go session the park, ride the rails or trails, and have fun. Protection for progression!

Our standard international shipping option is available to customers in New Zealand. For international orders, please note that the recipient is responsible for any additional customs fees or duties that may be assessed by their country.
Skateboards - Due to their length, shipping rates for skateboards will vary based on postage location and will be calculated prior to dispatch. You may be contacted by one of our team and asked to pay an additional shipping fee before your order can be dispatched. Skateboard purchases over $300 will still receive free shipping.
All products sold by EXTREME SKATES come with standard manufacturing guarantees against faults. If a product is found to have a manufacturing fault we will replace it free of charge once we are satisfied that the fault is as a result of manufacturing and NOT from extreme riding or over use. Where it is practical to repair a faulty product then we will, or else at our discretion, we will replace the product. If the product fails due to wear and tear, accident, neglect or negligence, or if it is outside the warranty period, we will happily repair it for a reasonable charge. Please note, while we are happy to return and exchange a product, refunds will not be provided simply for change of mind or incorrect sizing.
