Skateboards - Due to their length, shipping rates for skateboards will vary based on postage location and will be calculated prior to dispatch. You may be contacted by one of our team and asked to pay an additional shipping fee before your order can be dispatched. Skateboard purchases over $300 will still receive free shipping.
All products sold by EXTREME SKATES come with standard manufacturing guarantees against faults. If a product is found to have a manufacturing fault we will replace it free of charge once we are satisfied that the fault is as a result of manufacturing and NOT from extreme riding or over use. Where it is practical to repair a faulty product then we will, or else at our discretion, we will replace the product. If the product fails due to wear and tear, accident, neglect or negligence, or if it is outside the warranty period, we will happily repair it for a reasonable charge. Please note, while we are happy to return and exchange a product, refunds will not be provided simply for change of mind or incorrect sizing.
Suregrip Plates - Avanti Magnesium
The Suregrip Avanti Magnesium Plates are light, strong, and built to last. With a newly designed precision adjustable pivot truck that can withstand the intensity while giving you balance and durability, both the truck and plate are powder coated with a white finish. The Avanti Aluminum Plate includes a standard fixed pivot double action truck, both polished aluminum.
This 10 degree double action plate is built to last. With our exclusive use of magnesium in plate construction, we’ve crafted a sleek hollow design to give skaters performance and durability without sacrificing lightness.
Plates will come with black axle nuts and mounting hardware. Also include are Sure-Grip super cushions, 4 conical and 4 barrel.Magnesium alloy plate (white plate) is roughly 48% lighter than the aluminum version (Aluminum plate).

About Suregrip
John L. Wintz, the creator of a rubber inlay wheel invented for roller skates, starter Suregrip back in 1936. Before that, wheels used a material that was seen in factory machines where high friction was required. Suregrip realised that this material would give the skate wheel long wear while the rubber inlays would give them grip. This technology changed the rollerskating industry and for Suregrip as a company. Since then they have been innovating with new designs and engineering. Like the light weight aluminium and magnesium plates which changed the scene all over again.
